Headspace - Sunshine

  1. About this service

Headspace Sunshine forms part of headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention.

Mental health services to 12-25 year olds.

Headspace Sunshine is designed to make it easy as possible for a young person and their family to get the help they need for problems affecting their wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.

If someone you know is "going through a tough time" headspace Sunshine is a great place to start!

You can talk to one of our friendly intake workers about making an appointment by calling 9927 6222.

    Our YAG (Youth Advisory Group)
headspace Sunshine closely works with a group for young people aged between 16-25 who are passionate about issues faced by young people. The YAG share ideas and opinions, learn new skills, meet new people, help raise awareness in our
community and help make decisions about how headspace can work best. If you know of a young person who would like to join the YAG please contact our community awareness officer on 9927 6222.

    Parent Information Sessions
Parent Information Sessions are offered throughout the year free of charge, to help understand issues such as Drugs and
Alcohol, Depression, Stress and Anxiety. Please contact our intake team on 9927 6222 if you would like to find out more; or visit our website: http://headspace.org.au/headspace-centres/sunshine/
