Baptcare Family Services

About this service

Baptcare’s Integrated Family Services Program offers in-home support to families with children 0 to 18 years of age.

This program offers practical support, information, advice, and opportunities to develop skills in parenting and household management to vulnerable families experiencing difficulties.

How does Baptcare’s Integrated Family Services Program work?

Baptcare’s Integrated Family Services workers visit families in their own home and work alongside families to achieve their identified goals.

The Integrated Family Services workers can talk to an Aboriginal Liaison Worker or culturally and linguistically diverse worker who can make sure we provide a service that meets the needs of the family’s culture.

Would the Integrated Family Services Program benefit me?

Baptcare’s Integrated Family Services Program understands that there can be a wide range of issues confronting families which may include:
•Parenting children and adolescents
•Financial hardship
•Mental health issues
•Relationship issues
•Social isolation.

What does the Integrated Family Services Program offer?

Depending on your needs, this program offers various tailored services which may include:

Parenting skills development support - this service provides parents with information and advice around child/adolescent development, behaviour management, developing routines, time management strategies and household budgeting.

Referral & advice – information and links into various support services in your area, suitable to your needs. This may include community activities, support groups and other specialist services.

Advocacy – working with other services providers to promote the needs of families and improve their access to services.
